Jakarta, 8 February 2021 – As more people spent time inside their homes during the pandemic, Tokopedia saw an increase in transactions in the Home & Living category which reached more than 2x throughout 2020 when compared to the previous year.
In order to make it easier for people to meet their various needs for household products without having to leave the house, Tokopedia is back with Home Living SALEbrations Special 2nd Anniversary, the biggest campaign in the Home & Living category on Tokopedia which runs until 28 February 2021.
“Mattress pillows, automatic brooms, floor mops, electric gallon pumps and air fryers are some of the products most sought after through the Home Living SALEbrations campaign last year,” said Category Development Senior Lead (Home & Living Category) Tokopedia, Fifa Italia.
Through the Home Living SALEbrations campaign, people can easily access a variety of household products from a number of sellers, both local and international. “In welcoming the second year of the Home Living SALEbrations campaign, people can also enjoy various attractive offers such as cashback promos and Flash Sale discounts of up to 90%,” said Fifa.
The public’s growing need for household products during the pandemic also led to the increase in transactions for a number of local businesses, one of which is Kandura Studio, which produces various collections of tableware made of stoneware and porcelain.
“Tokopedia’s various campaigns, one of which is Home Living SALEbrations, have really helped increase sales. Our shop’s transactions rose by almost 2.5 times,” said Fauzy Prasetya, Owner of Kandura Studio.
Vassa Sofa, a local sofa producer, also recorded a transaction increase of nearly 2 times during the Home Living SALEbrations campaign in 2020. “FINN Sofa Bed Floor Chair is the product most sought after during the campaign,” said Fiona, Owner of Vassa Sofa.
