Tokopedia and TikTok Shop Seller Center Officially Launches

Jakarta, June 11, 2025 - The integrated Tokopedia and TikTok Shop Seller Center was officially launched today, designed to help local small businesses and brands manage their operations in Tokopedia and TikTok Shop more efficiently.

The new seller center reflects Tokopedia and TikTok Shop's ongoing commitment to driving sustainable growth, fostering innovation, and advancing Indonesia's ecommerce ecosystem. Through a unified and seamless dashboard, sellers can now manage operations across both TikTok Shop and Tokopedia more efficiently—streamlining workflows, reducing administrative tasks, and expanding their reach to a broader customer base. They also have the flexibility to choose whether to sell on Tokopedia, TikTok Shop, or both—depending on what best aligns with their business goals.

Other key features include:

  • Manage stores and products more efficiently for two platforms at once, Tokopedia and TikTok Shop
  • New marketing tools such as GMV Max
  • Access to the affiliate ecosystem and live shopping
  • Reach diverse market segments by offering a wide range of products, from high- to low-value items across categories.

"The integrated Tokopedia and TikTok Shop Seller Center is intended to strengthen the value the two brands provide to sellers across Indonesia. Since its soft launch in early April, sellers have reaped the benefits of store management improvement, time efficiency, and increased sales as sellers are able to reach a much wider user base. The majority of sellers who have migrated say their transaction growth is higher than before," said Melissa Siska Juminto, President Director of Tokopedia and TikTok E-Commerce, Indonesia.

Close to one-third of sellers using the new seller center increased their GMV by more than 50% within two weeks of migration and sellers have begun to experience positive results.

"The most positive impact is automatic stock synchronization. For example, we previously experienced over-selling products because the stock of products in TikTok Shop and Tokopedia are not synchronous. But since joining the new integrated seller center, our stock is much more stable with minimal errors, so deliveries can also be faster and there are no cancellations due to empty stock," said Yoseph Putra as Owner of UNERD Footwear, a local shoe brand from East Java.

Similarly, Mutiara Nisa Rozdianda, the owner of Kurma Alif (part of Kalaborasi Group), said the new seller center's features, such as orders, promotions, chat, and dashboard on one platform, were a great help. "Each feature has its own advantages that make it easier for us as business actors. One of them is a dashboard that allows the management of two sales channels from only one place. For us, this integration is like an omnichannel system that is effective, efficient, and makes it easier for entrepreneurs to sell online," said Mutiara.

Casio Gallery Indonesia Representative said, "Since the integration of the seller center, we have experienced a significant change. Previously, we had to switch back and forth between Tokopedia and TikTok Shop's seller centers to check various things, but now everything can be done through a single dashboard, making our daily business operations more efficient. In fact, after integration and by continuing to utilize the features available in the new seller center, such as integrated advertising, our sales have increased, and the number of followers and visits to our stores on both platforms continues to grow."

"We continue to harness the strength of both TikTok Shop and Tokopedia to better serve our customers and partners, and will invest in advancing Indonesia's e-commerce eco-system. Over the next six months, our priority will be to invest heavily in PLUS, our flagship loyalty program that would greatly benefit sellers and buyers," added Melissa. PLUS is a premium membership program offering benefits like exclusive discounts, free shipping, and instant delivery coupons. It enhances the shopping experience for buyers while helping sellers increase transactions through more frequent and higher-value purchases.

Going forward, all seller operations will be conducted on the new platform. Tokopedia and TikTok Shop are committed to supporting sellers through the transition by providing live chat/agent support, free training sessions and webinars on new seller center features and growth strategies. Sellers have the flexibility to choose whether to sell only on Tokopedia, on TikTok Shop, or on both platforms.
