Oppo A7x terlahir dengan visual modern nan elegan, dilengkapi dengan desain notch waterdrop di sudut atas layar yang bertipe LTPS IPS LCD seluas 6.3 inci. Untuk dapur pacunya, Oppo A7x sendiri diberdayakan oleh teknologi chipset MediaTek Helio P60 Octa-core yang didukung GPU Mali-G72 MP3. Ponsel besutan Oppo ini dijalankan oleh sistem operasi Android 8.1 Oreo dan ColorOS 5.2 yang mumpuni. Tidak perlu khawatir untuk urusan penyimpanan berbagai aplikasi dan file di ponsel ini, karena Oppo telah mencadangkan RAM berkapasitas 4GB serta memori internal sebesar 64GB sampai 128GB, membuat ruang penyimpanan lebih bebas dan leluasa.
Untuk urusan daya baterai, Oppo A7x disematkan baterai Li-Po yang berdaya 3500 mAh. Menyoal hasil jepretan dari ponsel ini, Oppo membekali kamera belakang utama A7x dengan fitur dual camera yang beresolusi 16 MP dan 2 MP bokeh. Dan untuk kamera depan tersedia kamera selfie dengan kualitas 16 MP yang ditunjang fitur HDR. Oppo A7x tersedia dalam bobot sebesar 169 g dan dalam opsi warna Starry Purple, Ice Flame Blue yang menawan.
