Oppo Find X hadir sebagai smartphone flagship yang istimewa dengan layar yang bezel-less dan hadir tanpa notch. Layar Oppo Find X sangat bersih, dengan menyisakan bingkai yang sangat tipis dan memiliki rasio screen to body yang sangat luas, yaitu 93,8 persen. Bersihnya layar Find X ini dicapai berkat kamera depan dan speaker yang disembunyikan di balik layar. Kedua komponen tersebut baru akan muncul saat diperlukan saja. Kamera belakang Oppo Find X pun ikut tersembunyi dengan modul kamera depan saat tidak digunakan.
Untuk pertama kalinya Oppo mengusung konsep layar dual-edge-curved alias melengkung pada kedua sisinya pada seri Find X ini. Oppo Find X menggunakan chipset termutakhir, yaitu Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 dan chip grafis (GPU) Adreno 630. Smartphone ini juga dibekali RAM 8 GB dan memori penyimpanan 256 GB. Oppo Find X dibekali baterai berkapasitas 3.730 mAh.
