Oppo A53 5G merupakan ponsel kelas menengah keluaran jajaran Oppo A series yang dijalankan dengan mesin prosesor MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G yang dipadukan dengan GPU Mali-G57 MC3. Prosesor ini menjadikan Oppo A53 5G memiliki pengalaman dan konektivitas 5G yang lengkap dan lebih baik. Untuk urusan penyimpanan, Oppo A53 5G dibekali RAM dengan opsi kapasitas 4GB dan 6GB, serta didukung memori internal sebesar 128GB, menjadikan penyimpanan di ponsel lebih longgar dan bebas. Anda pun dapat merasakan pengalaman beraktivitas di ponsel yang lebih awet dengan baterai Li-Po berdaya 4040 mAh yang tersemat di dalam ponsel. Untuk pengisian, ponsel ini ditunjang fitur fast charging 10W yang diisi melalui port USB Type-C.
Dalam urusan fotografi, Oppo A53 5G dicadangkan fitur triple camera pada kamera belakang, yang ketiganya hadir dalam resolusi 16 MP, 2 MP macro, dan 2 MP bokeh.
