Samsung Galaxy J4+ hadir sebagai smartphone pada segmen harga yang murah, namun menawarkan desain smartphone kelas menengah. Samsung Galaxy J4+ tidak terlihat seperti smartphone tingkat pemula, dengan desain unibody logam dan kaca. Samsung Galaxy J4+ hadir dengan layar True HD+ Infinity 6 inci panel IPS. Samsung mengklaim bahwa tampilan smartphone ini akan menawarkan pengalaman menonton yang hidup dan terlihat natural.
Walaupun hadir sebagai smartphone dengan harga yang murah, Samsung Galaxy J4+ ditenagai dengan prosesor Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 dipasangkan dengan 2GB RAM sehingga cukup memuaskan dengan kinerja yang lancar selama multitasking dan beralih antar aplikasi. Smartphone ini dilengkapi dengan dukungan Dolby Atmos dan menawarkan pengalaman audio mendalam melalui headphone, baik itu mendengarkan musik atau menonton film dan streaming.
