Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt merupakan smartphone kelas menengah yang hadir dalam rentetan Galaxy J series. Dalam dapur pacunya, ponsel ini ditenagai oleh teknologi chipset langsung dari produsennya sendiri, yaitu Exynos 7870 Octa-core dan disertai GPU Mali-T830 MP1. Dengan chipset ini, Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt dibekali beragam fitur dan kinerja yang lebih canggih serta memiliki efisiensi daya yang lebih baik. Ponsel ini didukung dengan sistem operasi Android 7.0 yang dapat dilakukan upgrade hingga Android 9.0. Dalam urusan baterai, tersemat baterai Li-Ion dengan daya 3000 mAh di dalamnya. Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt dicadangkan RAM berkapasitas 2GB dan memori internal 16GB untuk penyimpanan yang lebih bebas.
