A bright, normal-length prime for Hasselbald, the Speedmaster 65mm f/1.4 from Mitakon Zhongyi is a versatile lens, characterized by its impressive f/1.4 maximum aperture. This fast design excels in low-light conditions and also offers enhanced control over depth of field for using selective focus techniques. The optical design uses two ultra-high refractive index elements and two high refractive index elements to produce well-corrected imagery, void of chromatic and spherical aberrations. The lens's manual focus design suits working with subjects as close as 2.3' away with a 1:4 maximum magnification ratio.
