• -Your card comes preloaded with 1500 yen and the 500 yen deposit
  - Please be reminded that your IC card balance can be only checked within Japan
• - The card price applies to both adult and children
  - Kitaca is valid for 10 years and will expire if unused for 10 years
• - Refunds can be done at the **Hokkaido JR Ticket Counter**. A handling fee of 220 yen will be deducted from the amount remaining on the card and the 500 yen deposit will be returned
  - The minimum charge to your card is 1000 yen. The maximum amount that can be charged is 20000 yen
• - Kitaca does not require identity verification to pick up, so please be mindful of your card as it cannot be reissued if you lose it
