Nice hotel but looking out over a field of mud wasn't the view we were hoping for! The hotel is tucked away so nice and quiet. The spa was superb. The staff super friendly. The bed comfy and outdoor bathroom quirky but not ideal in the rain sharing the facilities with frogs and such like. It is suggested that it's a 15/20 minute drive into town but in reality it took 45 minutes because the traffic is so bad and the drop off/collection points get changed accordingly. On our last day the transport wasn't there to collect us and the heavens opened causing rivers to run down the streets and we subsequently got soaked through to the skin. The taxi eventually turned up 30 minutes late to two very disgruntled guests who then had to get changed for the trip to the airport which we were late for as the journey took double the suggested length of time. It wasn't the best end to our trip but worth noting that staying in more remote places can have downsides as well as up.

The outdoor bathroom is novel to start with but the reality of night visits to the loo isn't really fun at all!
