This calculator includes a scientific section that caters for all eventualities. With 'square' and 'square root'; 'sin, cos, tan' and all the other buttons you expect on such a calculator. So all in all it is a very well equip calculator.
Also the twin power assures you that it will never 'die' on you in times of need. The light needed for the solar power is very small, a reasonably dark room would still be sufficient to run it. And if ever you do find yourself with no light, the battery power will step in for a short while. Usually around 10 mins.
The handy case cover protects the screen from damage, it slides easily on and off. As you would expect. There is no off button on it. So once the cover it on, eventually it will switch itself off without use for a couple of mins. This helps conserve battery.
