The Q Acoustic 1000Si Bass Sub woofer is a dynamic, forward firing, active subwoofer that boasts a powerful 100 watt integrated amplifier driving a 200mm long throw bass unit. It provides a solid and compelling low frequency performance and is the basis of the superlative 1000 Series Home Cinema package.`

The Q Acoustics 1000Si Sub Woofer is available in a choice of Graphite Black, Beech or Cherry finishes and all boast the same excellent, low distortion, ferro-fluid cooled, micro polyester weave tweeter. Advanced, fourth order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers are used throughout, ensuring the smoothest response at the crossover frequencies, whilst stringent quality control requires every drive unit to be 'torque mounted' into the front baffles, the latter being rigid, low resonance, multi-radial designs up to 32mm thick.

Every part of the Q Acoustic 1000Si speaker range is bespoke, optimised specifically for each new model. The tweeters, bass/midrange drivers, magnets, cone material, crossovers, terminal panel and fully braced cabinets are all designed with the sole purpose of creating the very best performing loudspeakers.
