YD-RP2040 microcontroller equipped with Raspberry Pi RP2040 system fully compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico . This is an improved version of the iconic board thanks to which we get 8 times more FLASH memory, i.e. 16MB instead of 2MB, additional buttons: RESET and programmable user button, integrated RGB WS2812 diode and USB-C connector instead of the old microUSB. The used RP2040 system with ARM Cortex-M0 + Dual-Core core clocked at 133 MHz provides high performance while being energy efficient.
The multitude of available communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART and pins make it perfect not only for hobby but also professional applications.
The possibility of simple programming via the USB-C port by simply dragging the program file similar to copying files to a pendrive means that even novices will have no problems starting their adventure with programming this system. We can program it using the MicroPython language, C/C++ also from the ArduinoIDE environment after adding the appropriate repositories.
