Sims Uterine Curette Set of 6 / Sendok Kuret
The Sims Uterine Curette is used to remove the endometrial lining of the uterus to sample for diagnosis as well as for therapeutic reason during surgical procedures including uterine biopsy, dilatation and curettage, dilatation and evacuation and placental evacuation after incomplete placental delivery. The flexible instrument has an overall length of 31 cm and has a handle at one end and a blunt serrated tip at the other. The instrument has a width of 5 mm but is available in a range of widths up to 35 mm. During the procedure, the women is laid in a lithotomy or dorsal supine position. The Sims Uterine Curette is inserted after appropriate anesthesia and the walls off the uterine cavity are gently scraped to remove any retained products of conception and take an endometrial biopsy. All of our Sims Uterine Curettes are crafted with premium grade surgical stainless steel which can be sterilized for years of use.
