The Doyen Intestinal Clamp is a specialized general surgery instrument hat is composed of two long jaws with a ratchet lock system. The instrument is also available in a length of 23.5 cm and comes in both straight and curved varieties. The surgeon uses his dominant hand to grasp and occlude bleeders in the surgical view and achieve homeostasis during complex abdominal surgeries including gastric banding, gastric and intestinal resection, ileostomy, colostomy procedures as well as exploratory laparotomy.
