The NUX Metal Core Deluxe MKII is a high-gain preamp, built for crushingly heavy tones! With a three-band EQ and three classic high-gain amp models built into a single enclosure, the Metal Core Deluxe offers various distinct distortion styles to suit all your heavy metal needs.
Duo Rect, Fireman, and VH4 modes each offer a different amp model, using NUX’s highly-praised and very powerful TSAC-HD amp modeling algorithm, which provides a very realistic response and amp-like reactivity to your playing and attack. You can also easily save your preset settings for each mode to allow you easily switch between your preamp rigs without having to find your favourite settings.

Use the Metal Core Deluxe straight into an FRFR speaker, front-of-house PA/mixer, or power amp, and you can utilise the inbuilt IR for cab simulation! This allows you to go completely ampless and still have a ripping high-gain tone. The pedal responds amazingly to boosts and drives into the front end, providing the tight, chunky metal tones we love!
