TPA3255 Digital Amplifier Board
The TPA3255 is a high-performance D power amplifier chip with D efficiency and a circuit that delivers true high-end sound quality.
The device features an ced integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction (PurePath Ultra HD).
This technology allows the device to maintain ultra-low distortion the audio band while delivering sound quality.
Operating in AD mode, the device can drive up to two 315W/4R loads and two 150W (unclipped power)/8R loads at 1.5% , and features a 2 VRMS analog input interface for seamless connection to high-performance DACs such as TI's PCM5242.
In addition to audio performance, the TPA3255 also combines high power efficiency and ultra-low power-level idle losses (less than 2.5W).
This is achieved through an 85mR MOSFET and an optimized gate driver scheme.
This solution provides a significant reduction in idle losses compared to discrete implementations.
