This book comprises eleven scientific articles related to theoretical studies and research on English Teaching. The principles and the process of first language and second language acquisition is discussed in chapter one followed by the connection between reading and writing in chapter two. Chapter three focuses on strategy-based approach to develop student’s listening comprehension ability while chapter four outlines the development of secondary school students’ communicative competence through discourse. Error correction in second language communicative classroom and the role of teacher and peer feedback in teaching writing are discussed in chapter five and chapter six while the strengths and weaknesses of communicative language teaching is explored in chapter seven. In chapter eight the author focuses the discussion on incorporating online Writing Assistant in teaching writing skill for EFL students. Improving students argumentative writing skill through rubric and group-based Feedback is outlined in chapter nine. Chapter ten discusses English teachers’ expertise in designing and implementing lesson plan for 2013 curriculum and chapter eleven explores teacher’s perception in the use of pre-reading activities in EFL classroom.
