Decklink 4K Extreme 12G oleh Blackmagic Design ini menyuguhkan 2 full frame input dan output DCI full frame 4K via 12G-SDI! Ini sudah termasuk dual link multi rate koneksi 12G-SDI yang sesuai dengan SD, HD, dan Ultra HD serta Ultra HD 60ps. Sama baiknya dengan full frame DCI 4K resolusi 4096 x 2160 hingga 25p! Merekam10-bit YUV atau full color bandwith 12-bit RGB. Ditambah lagi, AES/EBU audio, up, down and cross conversion, plus built pada 3d stereoscopic output dengan full bandwith 4:4:4:4 RGB!

Decklink 4K Extreme 12G mendukung fungsi Colorspace Conversion dari "hardware-based" secara “real time” pada output. Pada saat instalasi, perlu diketahui perangkat ini kompatibel dengan 8 dan 16 lane PCI Express slots pada Mac OS X, Windows, beserta Linux. Untuk Mac OS X Systems, perangkat ini memerlukan komputer Mac Pro dengan PCI Express slots. Dapat diklaim bahwa tidak ada capture and playback card yang mampu mendukung begitu banyak format dan koneksi video seperti ini.
