Moondrop has years of expertise in designing premium quality in-ear monitors. The latest Dark Saber features striking faceplates that are made from expensive material used in ultra-luxury sports watches. It is made of hundreds of layers of high-strength carbon fibre subjected to ultra-high-pressure and high-temperature treatment.

Scientifically Designed 10 Driver Hybrid Structure

Moondrop has featured a 10-driver hybrid setup on the latest Dark Saber. The pair features two 10mm dynamic drivers for a strong lower end alongside eight balanced armature drivers for exceptional midrange clarity and treble extensions. The drivers are arranged together to distribute a balanced performance across the three frequency bands. The Dual DD are here for powerful lower-end, four custom BA drivers for Midrange, and four Knowles BA drivers for high-frequencies.

Professionally Designed H.O.D.D.U.S DD Module

The dual dynamic drivers are arranged together in Moondrop’s special H.O.D.D.U.S module, which stands for Horizontally Opposed Double Dynamic Driver Module. In this, the dual 10mm dynamic drivers are placed in parallel to each other using special 3D-printed modular components.

Full-Frequency Phase Alignment

Moondrop has used its expertise in tuning multi-driver hybrid IEMs over the years to develop a full-frequency phase consistency with the Dark Saber. The multiple driver units work flawlessly with each other working as a single coherent unit.
