ONI Denim KASURI 17oz Kasuri Selvage Denim is here!
Here it is the New ONI KASURI (“かすり”) selvage denim, a reincarnation of Kihannen fabric which can no longer able to be made. The new 17oz Kasuri is created with the intention of surpassing the Kihannen fabric of the time, making this 17oz Kasuri become the slubbiest fabric ONI Denim has ever made.
Oishi-san, the mastermind of ONI Denim, has designed and created a special ultra slubby yarn, and then weaved them with low tension weaving on a specially engineered old shuttle loom, to create one of a kind this ultra slubby denim. The result is a denim with plethora of texture, featuring 3-Dimentional textures, jacquard-like, like having honeycomb patterned denim. A totally unique texture that surely promises extraordinary wearing experiences and of course, fading potential like no others.
This new ONI Kasuri also features 2-colored Purple and Yellow selvage ID, which represent traditional Japanese theater colors. And like other ONI Denim, it comes with Copper Hardware, ONI branded Doughnut Buttons, Hidden Rivets, Vegetable-Tanned Leather Patch and special Kasuri flasher.
All in all, we feel honoured to be able to carry ONI Kasuri in our store. Easily, one of the most beautiful denim we’ve ever carried in our store.
