The Recording Tech XMP10 Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone is a high quality multi-pattern condenser mic for studio recording, broadcasting, voice dubbing, podcasting, etc.
The Recording Tech XMP10 features a 3-character polar pattern, omni for 360-degree coverage around the mic, cardioid for reaching in front of the mic suitable for vocals and instruments, or a figure 8 bipolar front and back for vocal take-out simultaneously reaching both the front and back of the mic. In addition there is also a low cut feature to reduce bass and minus 10db to reduce mic sensitivity. All three polar patterns can be selected with a switch on the mic (Cardioid, Figure 8, and Omni-directional) to optimize mic use in a variety of vocal, instrument, and even room recording situations.
