This is an official Logoz Gibson "Southern Rock" Custom Shop '59 Les Paul toggle switchplate badge (toggle back plate cover). It is in Excellent+ condition. These toggle switch back plates are extremely rare, as only 50 of this model guitar were handmade in the Custom Shop. Gibson no longer makes the model nor this limited edition tribute badge.
Gibson was the first guitar maker to pay tribute to the Southern Rock genre of music. The "Southern Rock" Custom Shop '59 Les Paul is a celebration of the cultural significance of the southern rock scene beginning in the late 1960’s and 1970’s. This was a major investment by Gibson to honor the roots of Southern Rock. Several vintage guitar experts, including Ronny Proler, consulted on the design/build of this now legendary '59 Les Paul guitar.
