High-performance AB two-channel magnetic encoder outputs 2 channels of square waves with a 90° orthogonal phase angle. The motor output shaft rotates one circle and each AB phase outputs 1152 pulses. The encoder input is between 3.3-5V, and the AB phase output can be directly recognized by the MCU IO port.
If you only need to use a reduction motor, you don't need to connect the encoder circuit. Just connect the two wires of the motor. To reverse the direction, just swap the positive and negative poles of the two motor wires.
