Steps to set up VMware machine with FORD IDS software:
1. Install VMware Player (VMware-player-15.0.2-10952284.exe) or download it from official
2. Copy Windows 7 - IDS directory to your PC
3. Open VMware player and select "Player-->File-->Open" and select virtual machine file "Windows 7 - IDS.vmx"
4. Run virtual machine and connect your VCM device. If message "Where virtual machine comes from" appears, select "I copied it"
5. Wait till Windows boots up and message "Configuration completed" appears
6. Finally run IDS software
