Chasen adalah pengaduk tradisional yang digunakan dalam budaya penyeduhan teh hijau Jepang selama ribuan tahun. Ritual ini dikenal sebagai Tea Ceremony (Chadou / Cha Dao) yang berarti Wisdom of Tea. Kini, metode ini semakin populer di Indonesia sebagai cara menikmati teh matcha secara autentik.
Cara Penyiapan Chasen Whisk Sebelum Dipakai:
1. Siapkan air panas (±40-60°C) di gelas
2. Ambil Chasen Whisk yang belum pernah dipakai, dan rendamkan kedalam gelas isi air panas.
3. Rendam selama ±5 menit, sampai 'gulungan' di ujung lidi chasen mulai kebuka (mulai lurus).
4. Setelah dikeluarkan dari gelas air, bisa langsung di 'pajang', atau di 'colok' ke Chasen Stand utk kering sendirinya.
