BOYU Fluidized Bed Filter is an extremely efficient, high capacity bio aquatic filter. This biological filter provides nitrification to remove the toxic ammonia. Its crystal sand filter media can keep the beneficial bacteria and create a film around the sand. Water pumped into the unit will lift the sand into the fluidized bed and the bacteria will remove the ammonia, nitrite and other wastes. The sand is in continual free fall through the water and there will be an excellent transfer between the water and the bacterial film on the sand.
This filter can be hanged on the rims of the aquariums, or be submerged under the water, placed in the cabinet.
The crystal sand filter media can keep the aquariums water stable, regard less of fresh, marine, or plants tanks.
It can also hold the ion exchange resin to improve the water quality of breeding tanks.
Multiple fluidized bed filters can be connected in parallel if your fish tank is extremely large.
