First print in Sept 2020. Rubble Book are made from 100% post-consumer waste. The benefits of using 100% recycled copy paper is the "closing the loop" process which diverts used paper waste from landfills and returns it to the paper manufacturing stream. This process saves green house gas emissions, wastewater, net energy and trees. This is our step towards working to support a future where paper is truly sustainable and it's benefits are shared with everyone.
RAW = Unbleached Paper.
Why unbleached paper? Unbleached paper saves the environment from the addition of dioxins and other harmful chemicals. Kraft paper has an environmental edge because it also quickly decomposes if it’s thrown away instead of recycled. Therefore, you don’t have to depend on the consumer to make a good environmental choice, kraft paper is environmentally low-impact whether it’s recycled or sent to a landfill.
Sekir are sustainable fabrics made from textile and plastic waste.
The mix between the two creates 12S yarns that we weaved manually. The colour from each Sekir fabric is heavily determined by its resources. It implies the color from any Sekir, & Lungs product is inconsistent because it is influenced by the dominant shade from some specific colors. This condition is connected to our commitment to save freshwater by eliminating the dyeing process from our production.
