The overall bright tone is further enhanced by the Canadian maple neck and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. The bass is fitted with two reliable Bartolini MK-1 pickups and combined with the MB-1 EQ active electronics, they form a powerful unit. In addition to a potentiometer for adjusting the ratio between the pickups, the Markbass preamp features three-band electronics, volume control and a switch between active and passive modes.
