About Shinki Hikaku Shell Cordovan:
It has come from Kobe, Japan. Has been in business since 1951. They are well known for their attention to detail, beautifull hides and rich coluors. Shell Cordovan is a rare, world famous leather made of specific layer of hide. It layer exists only in equine hides and has its maximum thickness on the rump area. One horse hide yields only two small oval piece of cordovan/two shells. Using the centuries old method of pure vegetable tannage and hand finishing. The tanning process take a full six months to complete. The outcome is one of the world's finest leathers and one that is highly coveted for its unmatched durability and wonderful patina.

Buttero is pure vegetable tanned leather from Conceria Walpier tannery base in Tuscany region of Italy. Will age beautifuly leather type. Conceria Walpier Tannery is registered with the Vera Pelle Association, which only produce outstanding vegetable tanned leather using traditional methods. They are well known for their attention to detail, beautifull hides and rich colors.
