NS2582 is a synchronous boost dual-cell lithium battery charge management chip that supports an input voltage range of 4-5.5V and a maximum output current of 2A. The chip integrates extremely low on-resistance MOSFETs to achieve higher charging efficiency, and the chip only requires a very small number of peripheral devices. NS2582 operates at a frequency of 1.2MHz and integrates multiple protection functions to protect the chip and terminal equipment to the greatest extent.
The charging current in CC mode can be changed by adjusting the resistance of the RICHG resistor, and the constant voltage point of 8.4V or 8.7V can be selected by adjusting the CV pin. The chip has a built-in DPM function for input adapter current limitation, and sets different VSEN voltages through external voltage dividing resistors to match different adapters. The chip integrates a temperature regulation loop that can intelligently save charging current and thereby control chip temperature. NS2582 also has a built-in charging status display function, which can determine the working status of the battery through the status of the LED. It also supports the normal operation of the synchronous boost function in battery-less mode.
NS2582 adopts the standard packages of ESSOP-10
