japanese version Blokus Shuffle: Pokémon Edition takes the classic strategy of Blokus and mixes in a deck of Pokémon-themed action cards. The object of the game hasn #39;t changed - play as many of your pieces as possible onto the board by following the one rule of Blokus: each piece you play must touch another of your pieces only at the corner. But now each player has a deck of Pokémon action cards to give them an advantage. On your turn you #39;ll play a Pokémon action card, then play your piece, then refill your hand. Each card features a specific Pokémon #39;s special attack like Quick Attack, Iron Defense, or Confuse Ray. When no one can play anymore pieces, the game ends and the player with the fewest unplayed pieces wins.
