The latest collaborative design features a special material composed of cotton canvas with a rubberised polyurethane coating and is presented in a unique colourway exclusive to Stone Island, reflecting the palette of the new collection. The trainer draws inspiration from Stone Island’s archival Raso Gommato fabric, a satin-weave cotton of military origin with the application of a polyurethane cover, first introduced by Massimo Osti in Spring_Summer ‘984 and reimagined for Spring_Summer ‘025. Over the years, Raso Gommato has taken on diverse combinations of polyurethane films and dyeing recipes to achieve different looks on the finished garment, defined by a contrast between the colour of the lamination and the colour and satin effect of the cotton.
