Mizu Saga Barley Shochu is a handcrafted Japanese spirit made from two-rowed barley and black koji rice, distilled using traditional methods. It has a floral, sake-like aroma with notes of banana bread and fresh grains, and a buttery texture. The flavor profile includes hints of ripe melon and vanilla custard, making it somewhat reminiscent of a young whisky12.

It’s best enjoyed on the rocks with a slice of cucumber, as a highball with soda water, or mixed with fresh grapefruit juice or iced green tea1. The alcohol content is 35% ABV2.
