Product Details
PUMP :
GRUNDFOS SP pumps are designed for a wide range of uses with a particular application to borehole supply. They are of multistage centrifugal impeller design and all parts are made from 304 stainless steel with water lubricated rubber bearings. A submersible motor is fitted beneath the pump and suction is effected through a strainer between the pump and motor. Standard pumps are designed for the pumping of non-aggressive water. An 'N' version is available for applications requiring a higher degree of corrosion resistance.
MOTOR
The pump is coupled to a sealed liquid cooled 2-pole asynchronous squirrel-cage GRUNDFOS motor constructed of stainless steel. Single phase motors are supplied complete with purpose designed control boxes, while three phase motors require a remote starter. For complete control including wireless low level and unstable main supply power a DAYLIFF electronic pump controller is recommended. Note that due to the low starting torques of submersible motors it is recommended that DOL starters are used for all motor sizes.
