Equo Pour Remover PO4 & SiO2

Insert the PO4 and SiO2 remover into its trickle and rinse with reverse osmosis water to remove residue and dust (the product can release a lot of heat when it comes in contact with water for the first time : use protective gloves and / or place the product in a container or cup for the first rinse). Then place this net in the filter or sump, making sure that there is a strong flow of water. It is even more effective if used in a fluid bed filter or in a phosphate reactor.

The PO4 and SiO2 solvent, like all absorbent materials, is characterized by a maximum absorption capacity and must therefore be changed regularly if the phosphate level remains unchanged or drops very gradually. This is why it is important to regularly test the level of phosphate concentration in the aquarium. Aluminum oxide and iron hydroxide cannot be regenerated under any circumstances because phosphates and silicates are removed from the water by the formation of stable complexes on the surface. Therefore, the PO4 and SiO2 remover, once used, cannot be reused.
