Multi-coating Haida Filter Circular Polarizing (PROII) helps to reduce reflection and glare by filtering the light that has become polarized due to reflections from non-metallic surfaces. Light from the sun naturally become partially polarized as it bounces electrons in molecules of air, causing the light to spread into what appears to be fog. Arranging a polarization filter, and the filter, this directional light is polarized perpendicular to the reflected light, allowing for plenty of light absorption. This causes a reduction of visible glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increased saturation of the sky and foliage.
