The 50-300mm F4.5-6.3 VC was designed in pursuit of high image quality and high-resolution performance throughout the entire zoom range. The lens has an optical construction of 19 elements in 14 groups, and a generous and effective arrangement of special lens elements, including two XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) and two LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements, that efficiently control aberrations such as chromatic aberrations.
