The Singleton of Dufftown #34;Luscious Nectar #34; is a 12 Year Old whisky from Dufftown Distillery. This smooth, naturally rich Single Malt Scotch Whisky has sweet fruity notes and a lingering, pleasurable warmth. Attractive and chewy, easily combining sweetness from ageing in American oak and fruitiness from European in a slow-distilled, traditionally made Speyside malt whisky. 700ml at 40% alc./vol TASTE Sweetness and crunchy nuts impress at first, then there’s a smooth, fruity Speyside richness to enjoy. Firm, with a balancing sweetness. Brown sugar and espresso coffee. Warming and pleasant. With water, still a pleasant texture. Light sweetness, then chewy and balanced by light acidity, with a good spread of flavours mid-palate.
