DESKRIPSI :
The AV-X0 Prototype is a third generation Patlabor manufactured by Shinohara Heavy Industries (SHI). The labor was an next generation close quarters combat prototype labor, aimed to be the successor of the AV-98 Ingram. Despite being near completion, the labor would never see an rollout in any official capacity.
The AV-X0 is a result of lessons learned during the AV-98 Ingram's use. This prototype model was outfitted for precision hand-to-hand combat and carried no projectile weapons, minimizing the risk of collateral damage. This was facilitated by a complete redesign of the power and propulsion systems, which granted the new model exceptional speed and agility. Not only was it a substantial mechanical upgrade, but it was equipped with SHI's Hyper Operating System (HOS), which allowed it be be 30% more efficient than if it were equipped with the standard Labor Operating System (LOS). The Type Zero was intended to be rolled out to Division 1 of Special Vehicles Section 2, but never reached the production stage.
