Medical grade silicone material compliant with ISO10993 biological evaluation standards holds high biocompatibility and high biosafety. The material can be used for human body organ implantation in surgical operation. It is safe, reliable, and skin-friendly for human body without any rejection reaction, irritation, and toxic substance.
Under the standards of ISO10993 material should passed about at least 3 tests including skin sensitization test, intradermal reaction test, and cytotoxicity test.
Skin Sensitization test: Maximum dose test for 15 groups of guinea pigs. Inject silicone extraction solution into guinea pigs and observe each stimulation site after 48 hours. Positive sensitization rate 0%, and non skin sensitization reaction caused.
Intradermal reaction test: Inject silicone extract solution into rabbits and observe the injection site after 72 hours. No red rashes and oedema.
Cytotoxicity test: Cultivate mouse L929 cells in 100% concentration silicone extraction solution. Perform cell morphology observation after 24 hours and evaluate cytotoxic effects. No potential toxic effects.
