A possible installation would be(for reference only): 1) Clean the lower part of windshiel where the wipres usually rest. 2) Apply a very thin layer of high temperature silicone RTV and mount the heater. Allow sometime(2~3 hours) for RTV vulcanization. 3) Apply a thick bead of the RTV around the heater strip and a thinner layer on top of it. Please make smooth slope so as to not hinder the normal movement of the wipers after installation. 4) Cover the installation with aluminum tape, and the rest is left only for wiring.
