Duende Elite Cajon

Our Elite cajn was our very first real model specially designed for drummers. There is nothing even similar to this conception in the market. It is a powerful and explosive cajn, with a very open, defined and powerful bass sound. The definition of the treble and snare sound is just what a drummer is looking for, it gets serious! There is nothing comparable! The slap is incredible; it seems that time stops when we play it: spectacular. We really have a drum set in our hands when we play the Elite model, the kick is amazing and the effect of it is unforgettable.

Furthermore the CL-3 system allows us to do whatever we want, from a very dry bouncy sound (so that the strings do not react) to a super wet sound with a lot of snare. With this system we can choose the vibration of each one of the three strings individually, and can even choose whether we want more snare sound on the left, right or in the middle of the cajn. Lets take an example, if I keep the snare on my right hand and I want a snare sound more defined with strings effects, I want a powerful, dry bass and a very dry, aggressive kick/slap on my left hand, what should I do? Thanks to the CL-3 system we can apply more tension (placing the strings closer to the front plate) in the center and on the left, while I will loosen / release the string on the right side to have more snare sound.

It was not until the later international expansion that we realized it is the favorite cajn of Latin percussionists. This is due to the incomparable, unparalleled and great definition of its slap.
