● All 40 episodes of the 1977-1978 animated TV series are now available on long-awaited Negascan HD remastered Blu-ray!
● This is the second installment of the Nagahama Romance Robo series, produced in response to the huge success of "Super Electromagnetic Robot Con Battler V."
● Five mecha are combined into a single robot, and five young men become pilots.
● Five mecha combine to form a single robot, and five young men become its pilots and fight for their youth.
● Although the basic setting follows that of the previous work, the production staff, including general director Tadao Nagahama, has created a completely different worldview by making full use of more profound drama and settings.
● The shocking development that the protagonist is of alien Boazan blood, the separation of father and son, the confrontation with half-brothers, resistance to oppression and revolution,
● The story of the liberation, and so on, is a great drama with a great swell. Furthermore, through the setting of the planet Boazan, the enemy of the Horned One reigns as an aristocratic class and rules over those without horns,
● This was an unparalleled and ambitious attempt to explore the issue of discrimination. Its dramatic nature was highly acclaimed overseas, and even today it is regarded as a masterpiece from the early days of the animation boom.
● The most important point of all was the appearance of Prince Heinel as a beautiful character.
Heinel was in fact the biological brother of the three brothers, the three stiff Voltes V pilots, who had been fighting as enemies.
● The shocking revelation in the final episode attracted many female fans.
