ROYAL CANIN Babycat Milk is specially formulated for 1st age kittens, from birth to 2 months old. For large litters, insufficient milk production by the mother, or separation of the kitten from their mother makes it essential to provide a milk substitute with properties as close as possible to maternal milk. The milk substitute must be adapted to the digestive abilities of the young kittens, which cannot tolerate excess lactose which is why cow's milk is not suitable.

Digestive Health
Babycat milk contains carefully selected highly-digestible proteins, and has a lactose content very close to that of maternal milk. The kitten's intestinal flora develops gradually over several weeks. The addition of prebiotics (FOS) helps to support digestive health.
