Marwa Cusco V Speculum Medium

The Cusco V Speculum is used to spread the walls of the v during outpatient gynecological procedures as well as surgeries including v examination, cervical examination, Pap smear, IUCD insertion, dilation and evacuation and dilation and curettage. The instrument consists of 2 blades arranged in a duck bill manner that are attached to a hinge at the back with a screw lock mechanism. The size ranges from 75 by 32 to 100 by 37 mm according to anatomical requirements. The surgeon lubricates the Cusco V Speculum and gently inserts the closed speculum inside the v. She then opens the blades gently and fixes them at the required dilation by adjusting the screw, this allows the surgeon to perform procedures without any aid from an assistant. They can be sterilized repeatedly for years of examination and surgeries.
