The compact, ergonomic design ensures that all the buttons, switches, and sliders are very easily accessible. The TWIN X14 also offers 4 customizable buttons, these are sensibly placed in the center of the transmitter for easy access. An example of using these buttons is when flying an RC glider you can configure these buttons as additional trim functions. These buttons become invaluable for making adjustments when flying and allow pilots to adjust the angle of the flaps and control surfaces according to the real-time air environment. The Turnigy TWIN X14 is also mode changeable from Mode 2 to Mode 1 for example. This does require the rear cover being removed and adjustments made to the ratchets, etc on the stick units, but it is very straightforward to do. It is then a simple case of going into the settings and selecting the mode you require.
