Reyneke Chenin Blanc 750ml

Reyneke Chenin Blanc is a combination of grapes, from our two adjacent blocks. The blocks are farmed identically, both organically and according to the biodynamic principles. The wine is made with the same minimal interventionist way, as with all out other certified wines. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and lightly settling before natural fermentation occurred in a combination of 300l second-fill French oak barrels and two 2500l foudr. The wine was aged on its lees for 10 months with a further two month ageing in stainless steel tank before bottling. Colour : Bright straw hue, yellow medium (White wine) Taste: Lovely bouquet of fresh limes and citrus peel followed through by fruit sorbet floral undertones. The palate has a beautiful freshness with a tight linear structure. Layers of citrus fruit, washed stone and spice carries through to a long aromatic finish. Alcohol: 13% Country: ZAF
