YEASTAR NeoGate TA400 Analog SIP VoIP Gateway ini dapat di konfigurasi dengan berbagai tipe SOFTSWITCH/IP-PBX, seperti : Asterisk, Lync Server, Certified with Elastix, 3CX, dan FreePBX untuk melakukan register ke SIP Server/SIP Proxy sebagai Analog Extensions for IP-PBX dan dapat dikonfigurasi sebagai PSTN Trunking for IP-PBX. Perangkat ini support SIP (RFC3261) dan IAX2 Protocol.
Selain itu YEASTAR NeoGate Analog SIP VoIP Gateway dapat di konfigurasi tanpa SIP Server, yaitu dengan Point-to-Point (PTP) antara FXO dengan FXS. Fungsinya untuk memperpanjang nomor extension PABX atau line PSTN baik dengan menggunakan koneksi LAN, Internet, IP Public, VPN-IP, maupun WLAN.
