The integrated gooseneck and the ratcheting swivel joint allows for easy placement and securing of the microphone. An isolating shock mount reduces the transmission of noise from wind instrument keys, as well as from other instrument noises. The supplied gooseneck angle brace keeps the microphone in the desired position, even during heavy movements. Also available for use with wireless systems under the model name WB98H/C. The Beta 98H/C operates with a transformerless preamplifier circuit for better linearity over the entire frequency range, while the cardioid polar pattern provides high gain before feedback and excellent suppression of unwanted background noise. The high maximum sound pressure level makes it possible to meet the extreme requirements of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.
